How do I subscribe to the RMS Support Desk news feed?

 

Introduction

The purpose of this article is to guide you through the steps involved in subscribing to the RMS Support Desk news feed. By subscribing to our news feed you will receive an email each time a new article is added to our news feed. We add articles when:

• Releasing new versions of RMS or QCS,
• Highlighting new useful areas in the RMS Support Desk,
• There are outages that affect users logging into RMS or importing/exporting files,
• The RMS Support Center is scheduled to be closed, and
• Any other occasion that affects our users.

Advantages of Registering

The RMS Support Desk allows users to register themselves. Users who become registered have the following benefits:

• They may view all of the support tickets that they have submitted, including our responses.
• When submitting a ticket they do not have to reenter their name or email address.
• Since your phone number is saved in your account we can easily call you when needed.
• If their organization has multiple QCS users they can view tickets that were submitted by other users in their organization.
• If the problem reoccurs a registered user may reopen the ticket. Reopened tickets receive priority support.
• Once the issue has been resolved you may close the ticket online.

Registering with RMS Support Desk should not take more than a couple of minutes and you will appreciate the benefits.

Step 1: Open the Subscribe Panel

To start the process of subscribing to our news feed you will need to open the Subscribe Panel. You may do that by clicking on the tab labeled Subscribe next to the Login tab.

 

Step 2: Enter your email address

In the first box enter your email address as shown in the screen shot. Note that email addresses are not case sensitive.

 

Step 3: Click the [Submit] button

To submit your subscription request you will need to click on the [Submit] button as shown in the screen shot above. The RMS Support Deskwill then send a validation email to the email address you entered. In that email there will be a link that you will need to click on so as to validate and complete your subscription request.
